Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The tool asks only for gender, birth date, general health condition, tobacco use, benefit amount, and term length. Those six facts give enough to quote you. Personal details — your name, address, and medical history — are requested only if you decide to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They are quotes from each carrier for your selected health level. The actual premium set by the carrier through underwriting might be confirmed, upgraded, or changed. Nothing here is an insurance offer or premium guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

Your name goes in, and your application is made from the exact quote you picked. The process happens through the carriers' secure platform and can be paused and resumed. You sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It depends on the insurer, the amount requested, and your answers. Many carriers now offer expedited decisions without exams for qualifying applicants. Each quote flags whether an exam is required, possibly required, or not required.

Is a longer term better?

It's tied to when your family's financial need ends. A term should span the years when losing your income would hurt — a home loan, dependents at home, a business debt. Longer terms lock in the payment for more years. The tool lets you line up 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options to compare costs.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The tool doesn't request contact info. We don't buy or trade visitor data. Our measurement is cookieless. See our privacy page for the full list of what we gather and from whom.
